Hebrew Names

Undeclinable Hebrew names. In general, most Hebrew names do not decline in Latin. This means that you have to rely on contextual clues to figure out what case the noun is in! Sometimes there is an adjective modifying the name which allows you to figure out the case. Otherwise, you need to rely on the meaning of the sentence itself to identify the case.

Hebrew names that decline. A few Hebrew names do decline into some or all cases. In this chart, you will find some Hebrew names with their corresponding Vulgate case forms.
